Hot Water Music
Yesterday, Hot Water Music played at the Backstage in Munich. I waited for that show for quite some time, and well.. I know, there’s always that talking about that ‘energy’ and the whole community stuff on such concerts. I must admit that this somehow sounds worn out and often enough it just isn’t the case; but the spirit I felt there (and I imagine to have seen it in some others people’s eyes, too) was just amazing. Then again, maybe I’m just a little biased towards HWM. Anyhow, just go see them.
They have been supported by Tribute To Nothing which I saw the for the 1st time and quite liked them. If you get a chance to speak to them, ask how the design of one of their shirts reminds you of At The Drive-In, I guess they can’t hear that one anymore
Sadly enough, there has been an accident while HWM was playing their addition (in fact they were playing Rooftops at that time). I don’t know any details but it seems like someone dived and hit the ground or an edge of a small platform which was located on the side. HWM stopped playing immediately calling for an ambulance. When I left the hall about an hour later the ambulance was still parked outside, looking busy inside. HWM didn’t continue to play, for obvious reasons. Whoever has been hurt there, all the best and get well soon.
