Yesterday I witnessed The Mars Volta live in munich. The more weird part of the At the Drive-In split (Sparta beeing the, well, less weird half) performed an incredible show. If you know their studio stuff, forget about it. Their live arrangements are just above and beyond. Quite exhausting, though. Maybe I was either too drunk or too sober, for it took me quite some time to find my “comfortable space” to really enjoy their performance.
